Various movement classes for all abilities, some designed for rehabilitation and prevention of injuries and disease. Classes include different yoga styles.

Healing Yoga: Designed for beginners and first time yoga students, as well as experienced students.
A gentle yoga practice at your own pace is much more beneficial because it allows your mind to relax and stay present with your body. Modifications will be offered to help you get the full benefit of each posture.

Class offered through COCC in the Spring, Fall and Winter terms. Saturday mornings. Register through COCC at 383-7270.
Level 1- Basics, Fundamentals & Foundations of Tribal Style Bellydance
Designed for students new to belly dance or for dancers new to Improvisational/American Tribal Style belly dance. Each class begins with drills and body awareness exercises rooted in easy-flow yoga moves, followed by an in-depth approach to learning the essential slow and fast movements necessary for the Improvisational Tribal Style dancer. We also drill basic finger cymbal patterns.
From day-one you’ll learn to dance in duets and trios, connecting with fellow dancers as you learn to the art of leading and following - Tribal style.
